Why copper in commercial projects?
Three properties make real copper interesting for commercial construction. First, durability: copper is a robust metal that remains stable and full of character for many years with proper processing and suitable sealing. It doesn't flake off like a printed motif and doesn't lose ink colors because there simply aren't any. Each of our surfaces is created through controlled chemical reactions, fire, and natural oxidation directly in the metal.
Second, material effect: copper possesses a depth, warmth, and vibrancy that printed imitations can hardly achieve. Light, viewing angle, and surroundings change the perception of the surface. This is precisely why hand-patinated copper is particularly suitable for spaces where the wall cladding should not only be functional but also part of the architectural concept.
Third, uniqueness: a hand-patinated surface is one of a kind. No two identical panels exist – for projects that aim to distinguish themselves from mass-produced goods, this is exactly the point.

Areas of application: Where copper makes an impact in projects
Hotels & reception areas. A copper wall behind the reception desk or in the lobby area replaces large-format art – it is the art, but also functions as wall cladding. Warm light on patina creates a depth that no printed panel can achieve.
Gastronomy. Bar backsplashes, counter fronts, accent walls in dining areas. Copper harmonizes with dark wood, leather, and brass fittings – the material canon of upscale gastronomy.
Bath & Spa. With appropriate sealing, copper can also be used in wet rooms. Especially as an accent wall, decorative panel, or surface outside direct continuous splash water zones, it creates a warm, sculptural effect. Custom manufacturing and planning process
Every element is created in our manufactory in Poland – there is no warehouse with anonymous standard goods, but rather production according to the project. For architects, this means specifically:
- Free dimensions: Panels and tile formats are manufactured to measurement – including cutouts for sockets, fittings, or light outlets.
- Surface by agreement: Patina intensity and color proportions can be controlled within a collection; we coordinate the target direction based on reference photos.
- Samples: For project decisions, you can order surface samples – patina must be seen in real light.
- Realistic scheduling: The production of an element usually takes about 8 working days; project scopes are individually agreed upon. Shipping is directly from the manufactory.

Installation: uncomplicated in construction
Our panels are flat metal elements with low weight – not solid slabs. Installation is usually done by full-surface bonding with high-strength mounting adhesive on a load-bearing, even substrate; no substructure is required. Tiles are laid modularly like classic wall tiles. For special cases such as suspended elements, ceiling mounting, or very large formats, we provide project-specific advice.
Maintenance in commercial areas
The patinated surfaces are sealed to preserve the depth of the patina and to make the surface easy to clean in everyday use. The type of sealing depends on the product: Wall panels receive a transparent protective lacquer (acrylic lacquer), which makes them resistant to touch and everyday wear – the suitable choice for kitchen backsplashes, commercial surfaces, and heavily used areas. Metal tiles are sealed with a protective wax. For projects with special requirements, we individually coordinate the structure and sealing.
Maintenance is straightforward: dry wiping with a soft cloth, if necessary, wipe lightly damp and then dry. Abrasive cleaners, acid-based cleaners, and chlorine- or ammonia-containing agents should be avoided. In heavily used areas, we recommend a brief project-specific consultation on use, cleaning, and maintenance.

Does the patina change over time?
The patina is stabilized during production and then sealed – wall panels with a transparent protective lacquer (acrylic lacquer), metal tiles with a protective wax. The color scheme generally remains preserved. Over the years, the metal can subtly mature and gain depth; this is a material characteristic, not a defect, and one of the reasons to specify real copper instead of printed imitations.
Is copper suitable for wet rooms?
With appropriate sealing, copper can also be used in wet rooms. Decorative wall surfaces, accent walls, and areas without permanent direct water exposure are particularly suitable. In splash water zones, we recommend a project-specific coordination of surface, sealing, and maintenance.
Can panels be manufactured exactly to project dimensions?
Yes – custom manufacturing is our standard, not the exception. This also includes cutouts for sockets, fittings, and lighting.
How heavy are the elements?
The elements are significantly lighter than natural stone or ceramics with a comparable appearance. They are usually simply glued over the entire surface, without a substructure. Exact surface weights are provided on a project-specific basis, depending on the construction.
