Copper Rift — Savage Copper Bloom

A set of two handcrafted copper wall panels with hand-applied patina. One angular cut with two bends divides the composition into two broad, irregular shapes, separated by a narrow zigzag rift. This listing is for ONE COMPLETE SET OF TWO PANELS — the price covers both pieces.

Fiery rust-orange and copper-brown tones meet ochre and golden yellow, patches of verdigris green and dark charcoal spots. A fine lace of bright copper runs across the whole surface. The patina develops directly on the metal, so every set is unique — each panel has its own patina layout, and the pattern and colour balance will vary from the photos.

Construction

  • Genuine copper surface, patinated by hand in our workshop — Savage Copper Bloom finish
  • Bonded to an aluminium backing, recessed 0.5 cm from every copper edge, so it stays out of sight
  • Pre-drilled mounting holes, Ø 1.5 cm, at every corner of each panel
  • Protected with lacquer — for indoor and outdoor use
  • Panels sit approx. 1 cm off the wall for a floating look
  • Screws and wall plugs are not included, as the right fixing depends on your wall

Set sizes

Overall width × height in a horizontal layout, including the recommended gap and offset. Every size includes both panels.

Horizontal or vertical

Hang the set horizontally above a sofa, bed, sideboard or dining table, or rotate the whole composition by 90° for a narrow wall, hallway or stairway — the rift then runs across, with one panel above the other. You don't need to choose when ordering; every set can be hung either way. In vertical layout, width and height swap.

Room scenes are visualizations; please use the size tables to judge scale.

What you receive

Two copper panels (A and B) in the size you select. Furniture, plants and other decor shown in the photos are not included.

Care

  • Dust with a soft dry cloth; a barely damp cloth if needed, then wipe dry
  • No vinegar, lemon, scouring agents or metal polish — they cut through the lacquer
  • A lacquered surface needs no wax and no re-coating
  • Copper is a living material: even under lacquer the patina deepens slowly over the years. That is normal for real metal, not a defect

Made to order

Each set is made for your order. Lead time 7–17 days; for very large or customised pieces we tell you up front if it will take longer. We also make custom sizes and patterns.

Handcrafted in our workshop in Poland. Need help choosing a size? Send us a photo of your wall and its width.
