Horseshoes is a handmade set of four decorative metal tiles with an intertwined horseshoe motif. Eight horseshoes spread across four tiles create a rhythmic, symmetrical composition that catches the eye from afar and, up close, reveals the texture of real metal.

Each tile is made from real metal—copper, brass, or stainless steel. This is not a print, foil, or imitation. The pattern is created directly on the metal surface, giving it natural depth, tactile texture, and the distinctive look of handcrafted production.

The product includes a set of four tiles. Arranged in a 2 × 2 layout, they form a cohesive wall decoration, but they can also be placed separately or combined with additional sets to create a larger composition.

Set dimensions

The product includes four decorative Horseshoe metal tiles:

• One tile: 25 × 20 cm
• Entire set (2 × 2 arrangement): 50 × 40 cm

The tiles can be mounted directly next to each other, creating a compact composition of 50 × 40 cm, or small gaps can be left between them, depending on the design and desired visual effect.

When ordering multiple sets, they can be arranged to cover a larger wall area – the horseshoe motif connects in every direction.

Available materials

Horseshoe tiles are available in three noble metal variants. Each material reflects light differently and imparts a distinct character to the interior.

• Copper — warm, reddish-gold, and distinct. Natural copper tones create an elegant contrast with the dark horseshoes. The most classic choice for interiors with wood and leather.
• Stainless steel — cool, modern, and minimalist. Perfectly suited for bright interiors, glass, stone, and concrete.
• Brass — noble, decorative, and elegant. Golden reflections emphasize the luxurious character of the composition.

Each variant has a wax-protected surface. Due to the manual production process, individual tiles may differ slightly in shade, texture, and light reflection. These subtle differences are a natural characteristic of real metal and make each set unique.

Finish and care

The tile surface is protected with Renaissance Wax — a microcrystalline, museum-grade wax used by the British Museum to protect metal artifacts. The wax protects the patina and enhances the depth of the metal.

For daily cleaning, a dry or slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Avoid abrasive cleaners and harsh detergents.

After years, you can refresh the wax layer yourself — simply use a soft cloth and a thin layer of Renaissance Wax spread over the surface.

Installation

The tiles can be mounted on a clean, stable, and properly prepared surface. Depending on the type of wall and the planned use, an appropriate mounting adhesive or strong mounting tape designed for wall decorations can be used.

Before mounting, we recommend laying out the entire set on a flat surface and determining the final arrangement. This allows you to match the direction of the pattern and the placement of individual tiles.
